Hey Everyone,
This morning while I was spending time in the Word, in Prayer, and in writing down some thoughts, some things took place that I want to share with you. Here is what I began to write in my journal or the book of "Documenting my Journey:"
Noah is still sick -(4 days now). He is lightly crying in the background as I write this. Aliyah has been struggling with her health for about a week now. Coughing throughout the day. Sometimes she has trouble breathing during the night. We have never dealt with so much sickness as in this past year. Is it normal? So much? Is it spiritual attack? Is it the mold that we continue to fight against? Some say YES, some say NO. What can we do?.......
(Some time in between)
.... Rebecca just came running out with Aliyah and brought her to the bathroom. Aliyah just threw up in our bed. So I quickly went to go help. The look in my wife's eyes were as if to say, "When is this going to stop? Not again... and so much more......"
It is now later in the day and Aliyah has thrown up well over 10 times. She is laying on the couch next to me completely tired and trying to keep down the water that I just gave to her. Noah is with Rebecca as he just got up from his nap. He has had bad diarrhea throughout the past 3 days. I took him to the doctor office yesterday to get him checked up on. He has definitely caught a "bug" and has passed it on to his sister. Rebecca has been such an amazing trooper and has continued to do all of the laundry that has been continuously piling up from all of the mishaps that have taken place. Praise the Lord that Katie is healthy and doing strong. She is actually over at Edmund and Martha's house right now playing with Karis (one of her friends) and is going to spend the night for her first ever sleep over.
We are and have been dealing with this situation of mold in our house and have done what we can to keep on top of it. We are looking into some more details about it right now and hopefully will come up with some kind of solution to go over with our land lords. We are praying for wisdom in what to do with all of this. Yes, we are blessed with the place that we live in, but we have never dealt with so much sickness as in this past year. Of course sickness is normal, especially with three little kids who can easily pass it around to each other. But is it from the mold? What are we to do?
Also, we are currently dealing with a situation with our car. We have had it for over a year now and have poured more money into it than any other car that I think I previously owned. We need to get something else fixed on it again and I really do not want to put any more money into it! We need to get a new car, we are praying over this also, asking for wisdom in what to do in this situation also; as we do need to respond soon.
In the midst of all of this, here are some verses that we will choose to hold on to:
We do ask you to please join us in prayer for health, wisdom, and direction with these next steps that we need to take soon! Thank you all! God Bless you!

"And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matt. 21:22
(I read this today in my devotions)
(I read this today in my devotions)
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is ia double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." James 1:2-8
"Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.
Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You." Psalm 33:20-22
